(UK) An innovative scheme delivering organic food boxes with the morning milk has taken off for a Reigate dairy.
Dairy Crest, in Warren Road, has increased its customer base and boosted its takings since launching the scheme earlier this year.The trend towards healthy eating delivered to the doorstep seems to be the way of the future with the elderly and housebound reaping the biggest benefit.
Hundreds of customers are receiving organic fruit and vegetables with their milk delivery, after customer demand prompted Dairy Crest to start talks with Fair Organics.
